This is very nice. Reminds me of the baby cardinal at my dads house a few summers ago, that discovered his imagine in one of the windows. He's fly from the bushes, to the window sill; fluff up his feathers, puff his chest out, chirp loudly at the imagine, then fly back to the bushes. He did this over and over again, all day! lol. It was just too cute, too funny.

A wonderful write Fran...about one of God's greatest gifts. So many take for granted the many gifts God has bestowed us with...They don't feel the breeze blowing through thier hair...they don't hear the music of the wind blowing through the trees...they don't hear the music of birdsong...and they can't see the forest for the trees.

This is a wonderful poem. I have a little cardinal that I believe has made friends with my cats or just like to tease them jumping around in a tree near the window. Always comes around.
