Bella Sera

Bella Sera

A Poem by Fran Marie
"

Beautiful Evening

"

Sparkling glow shone from above
upon two souls entwined in love,
         and beneath a milky moon
their song sang love's sweet tune.

A beautiful evening,or so it would seem,
for sealing this love and fullfilling their dream.
a starlit night, perchance a dream could be made.
Tho~ sad it is, even stars sometimes fade.

For fate turns a cruel hand
         on dreams sometime,
               and steers away, love sublime

A once beautiful evening  turns cold and grey.
          the stars grow dim
                         and simply fade away.

Perfect poem! There is just something about it. Perhaps the way it all fits together. So flowery, poetic, rhymes well and with much emotion. It leaves me with a feeling of longing mixed with sadness. I just had to add it to my library, because just what if I never read it again.

I find this a sad ending to a uplifting start. The stype and font are wonderful. The flow gives meirt to the ending and manitains the structure. However sad I find it it is still a great write and wonderful read.

what a beautiful way to express the sad and tragic ending to love. just quietly fading away...this reads almost like a dream....more on a surreal level...very nice indeed.

Change is the Art and Science of Nature, roiling with incessant urges to sparkle in a new way or for a brief instant become amazed at it's Beautiful moment, yet lingers not as She is vast and pregnant with Loves many children to come ...

lovely Poetry, Fran Marie
