Bella Sera

Bella Sera

A Poem by Fran Marie
"

Beautiful Evening

"

Sparkling glow shone from above
upon two souls entwined in love,
         and beneath a milky moon
their song sang love's sweet tune.

A beautiful evening,or so it would seem,
for sealing this love and fullfilling their dream.
a starlit night, perchance a dream could be made.
Tho~ sad it is, even stars sometimes fade.

For fate turns a cruel hand
         on dreams sometime,
               and steers away, love sublime

A once beautiful evening  turns cold and grey.
          the stars grow dim
                         and simply fade away.

Perfect poem! There is just something about it. Perhaps the way it all fits together. So flowery, poetic, rhymes well and with much emotion. It leaves me with a feeling of longing mixed with sadness. I just had to add it to my library, because just what if I never read it again.

I hate it when relationships are victims of 'hit and run' love....that does not stay. Beautifully stated piece on love passing by....

fran i love how you sculpted this embracing
romantic, enchanting render characterizing
the amorous sparkle gleaming as an essence
unifying two souls, stargazing contemplation,
sweet & gentle, Brilliant, pure poetry, much peace. mike
