Oh sad lost soul, take back your pen.
Write such, of happy thoughts again.
The moon in your sky sleeps distressed,
Bringing sadness, gloom and deep stress.
Bitter you've grown, now make amend.
Oh sad lost soul, take back your pen.
With heart stained ink,so darn depressed.
You wrote volumes of loneliness.
'Tis true, I've read your lonely tears
Written doubt,filled with hopeless fears.
Oh sad lost soul take back your pen
Put sepia spheres to an end.
Perchance new love may come your way,
casting blue hues to sunlit days
Erase taupe tones, too long have been.
Oh sad lost soul, take back your pen.
Fran, you have a special talent for writing poetry in the classic forms....poetry that will last through time. Absolutely wonderful work....so compassionate and caring. Lydia
Beautiful! Writers block in the extreme. Your flow is excellent here Fran, no grammar or punctuation mistakes that I could see. Love the font you used for this, very apt for this style of poetry.
Helen...
I love the hope with which you wrote this. It is a good sign of healing and looking forward to brighter days to come. This is your best yet in my opinion. Great job.

Sounds a bit like Shakespeare. You have got me really sad for this lost soul that you write about. Gloom, deep stress, sadness, bitterness, depression, loneliness, doubts and fears...YES! YES! Take back the pen! It's hard to write when we are depressed, though I have written some pretty darn good poetry when I was grieving...
Great write. Flows beautifully. Love your style!
