If only....

if only

the world was shaped

  in form of a heart

                       showing compassion in

every part..

to the highest mountain

          river, valley and stream

showing brotherly love..

  the ultimate dream

 

 mankind across every land

                  

              speaking words to each other

of peace...showing we understand

                                   that all wars would cease

             putting an end to the hate pouring rain

erasing a  blood terror disease

                          cleansed by God's heavenly reign

Lovely lovely wish! Shows that you heart is as big as the one you are wishing for all. I loved your use of word placement. Many times it really adds nothing to the poem and actually makes it harder to read, but yours slowly trickled down the page leading the reader from one phrase to the next. a wonderful image you have painted with the words of love. ~Jan

I too wish for our kind to finally stop killing, hating, judging, propagating, and just live amongst each other in harmony and love. And to respect and pay tribute to Mother Nature, because by killing and polluting one another, we kill parts of her as well.

Yes, if only! What a sorry state this poor old world has become. Actually, not the world, when left alone it would likely carry on quite nicely without humanbeings plundering, killing, destroying and every imaginable horrible verb you could thinking of.
