These~Vague Visions

These~Vague Visions

A Poem by Fran Marie

Vague Visions

Can you not see my face?
Am I just a vague vision in dreams lost,
not even remembered in your waking hours,
cast to the side, a faded memory.

You do not even recall our distant hideaway,
our Shangrila, where once we shared our love
A lovers paradise,we knew no shame.
wrapped in rapture, so sublimely untamed.

We soared to a height beyond mere stars
that lit the heavens, into a universe so vastly divine~

A dynamic duo of fasination

Enchanted hearts and souls bursting forth into bliss
A sweet dichotomy of surreal reality
and now my love you don't even know I exist

Rejection to the nth degree. I am sorry for the pain you express in this write. Thank you for sharing something that is so near and dear to your heart. I hope you found some release getting this out. You use such elegant language to describe all of this.

Some of my favorite lines are:

wrapped in rapture, so sublimely untamed.

that lit the heavens, into a universe so vastly divine~

Enchanted hearts and souls bursting forth into bliss
A sweet dichotomy of surreal reality

A dynamic duo of fasination

Thanks for taking the time to share this.

What a terribly sad write. I hope this is not true for you however if it is be strong and someone who does not stick with you must be let go in the end if they return then perhaps it is meant to be, if they do not then it was not and you are better off for it. Well expressed. Thank you for sharing.

This is a sad piece and we are often haunted by memories of lost love and you expressed both the joy and the pain very well. The words and phrases where poetic in themselves making it so beautiful and well worth reading. You did not seem to follow a structure that I know and that could easily be. To me it seemed to interupt the flow of some of the lines. Still well Done.

It is pain caused by things like this that brings out the best in a writer..Once you have lived through it..to tell of it in words seems to have so much more meaning..Lovely write..God bless Valentine

Heartbreaking poignancy and regret, Fran. I have to believe that sort of passion and love may end, but the memories can never be erased. This is excellent poetry. Lydia
