Another's View

Imagine the view from inside
and I'm sure you certainly can
An idea which peeps
from your mind
and leaps into your pen.

Burning words sear the page
Braided pearls weaved into each line.
A poem is born,to be read,by other's eyes
To ingrain,imprint and impact
upon another's mind.

For to read and feel the joy or pain
put forth~ from another's imagined view
You read, you laugh, perchance you cry.
It's the Art of Poetry reaching the heart of you.

Ah, but when it touches your soul
the very core of life to impart
yes 'Tis then and when
Poetry Truly Becomes Art.

'Another's View'
Fran Marie,
How true the theme of this poem. I love that a human being can simply write what is living in their heart upon paper and find it good for them. The double delight when one finds what is shared good for another. Beautifully relayed bringing me a smile.
Blessings.

ah very true. i feel self awareness on how a poem or any type of literature really, when written, is art when it is read, felt, heard. it is the art of literature when someone, anyone, puts their pen to work and produce a piece so meaningful.

good job!
