DeadLy DReam

DeadLy DReam

A Poem by Fran Marie

`` Deadly Dream``

In slumber came a dream so real
A midnight fog, most dead I feel
Depths of hell bode, a dream so real
My soul to steal, My soul to steal

Dark Shadows deep, within my dream
Entombed my mind, so it would seem
Could not escape this deadly scene
I tried to scream! I could not scream!

I sought relief, but could not rest
My spirit sealed,My soul possessed
Retrieve my peace!, I do protest!
I did my best, I did my best.

Deep, Deeper, Down! My spirit bent
in dark despair, of Hell's descent
Inferno's pit, of no repent
'Twas no relent, 'Twas no relent!
