To me, it reminds me of a thought I have very frequently. The idea that humans see themselves from birth to death. Opposed to understanding that the soul itself lives before our birth and after our death. The idea that the universe is unknown, and our soul is the only thing we will ever have the most knowledge about, over any book, idea, person, etc... Almost makes one wonder, why isn't the soul studied? Humans study everything else, except the soul?
"Crystal Clear"
Fran Marie,
"Beyond the core
of man's mortal soul within
breathes in silence
immortality's mind."
I found this to be beautiful. None of us really knows or understands the very life force which makes us tick. It is a mystery. We are too.Just when we may think we understand something about ourselves, that very thing can change or we grow or learn. Just when we may think we know just about everything about a spouse, friend or loved one, we find out their is so much more.
Beautiful writing!
Blessings,
Kathy

Very intense imagery and metaphor use! It's great!! that's how a poem about thought and knowing oneself should be:) I like how you associated every thought with a kind of image. I hope that made sense..:P But, great poem! :D
If humans were capable of using their inner workings to their full potential, I'd probably be afraid of living. A very intriguing write. Your rhythm was done magnificently. ^_~
