Not since summer have i felt such sweet bliss
spellbound and succumbed by a new love's kiss
not since summer have i announced in verse
this endless desire ready to burst
A new plane of enlightment lies within
uncovers doubt, with a sense of command
Not since summer's red rose faded away
have i been given, life's new sweet bouquet
not since summer's soft breeze fluttered on by
have i not wept tears, whence ,eyes were not dry
oh, yes, sadder moments, i have known
solitary nights of crying alone
Not since summer hath my heart sung new tune
unchained beneath September's autumn moon
"not since summer"
Fran Marie,
New hope is the thread glistening through this poem.
"not since summer have I announced in verse'
this endless desire ready to burst
a new plane of enlightment lies within"
This next line is where I see something strong come into play with the old conditioning replaced with new light.
"uncovers doubt, with a sense of command"
It's good to see the tears diminish.
Beautiful ending:
"Not since summer hath my heart sung new tune
unchained beneath September's autumn moon"
