Christopher MichaelA Poem by Olivia YvonneMaybe it was those eyes Those beautiful golden eyes Or those cute freckles That speckle your cheeks. Maybe it was that night The one on the trampoline When you spoke of stars And universes and magic Maybe it was the way Your fingers first shyly Brushed mine, then you Held my hand for hours. I think all of those late night Calls might have done it. As you declared your Love in the softest whisper But how could I forget The hours spent lying In the soft grass, body Against body in a Beautiful silence where The only sound was my Heart pounding from your proximity Maybe it was how you Kissed me. Your warm lips Against my throat, pressing Me to your body until I became almost absorbed into you. I have spent countless nights Wondering what it may have been That made me fall so deeply And hopelessly in love with you. But I never realized it might have simply been how beautifully you loved me too © 2014 Olivia YvonneAuthor's Note
