A Star Fell to Earth

A star fell to Earth,

White, twinkling, and alone.

A star fell to Earth,

Brightly bold this beauty shone.

A star fell to Earth,

Unsure of its purpose.

A star fell to Earth,

A profound intention beneath its surface.

The star gazed upon the blue,

Awed by Earth's reverie.

The star gazed upon all that was true,

And kept all in its mental treasury.

The star dreamt of a human form,

Perhaps she could one day be.

The star dreamt of a man so warm,

She couldn't wait to see.

Metaphysical compassion,

The star was well aware,

Could open a world,

Beyond anything to compare.

The star knew that love was near,

She was patient, yet unyielding.

She felt him close,

And knew the Universe was kneeling.

A star fell to Earth,

She gazed longingly at the Blue.

A star fell to Earth,

And by sweet, true serendipity,

She found you.
