When Sister Was A Lion

When Sister Was A Lion

A Poem by FractalLuna

When Sister was a lion,
She carried me on her back.
When Sister was a lion,
She would pick up the slack.
When Sister was a lion,
I would snuggle into her fur.
When Sister was a lion,
She loved to purr.
When Sister was a lion,
She knew when to show teeth.
When Sister was a lion,
The sun shone golden belief.
She chased away darkness and grief,
She encouraged my dreams,
Sat through my dramatic extremes,
Accompanied me in the land of Oz,
When Sister was a lion.

Amidst the layers of life stands a beautiful woman covered in paint. Her body is her canvas. She is essence. She is free and powerful and sexy. Through art she is more alive than even the most.. more..
