Lucid Beast

Lucid Beast

A Poem by FractalLuna

Feeling the cold within my bones,

A voice of elusion I've never known.

Double-edged and metallic as ice,

Into my vision its blade did slice.

Dripping now with blood, bright red,

Laughing now as I stand dead.

Frightened chills run along my spine,

Claiming a soul that once was mine.

Standing before me this beast of dread,

Clutching my heart and stroking my head,

Smiling a smile of glistening teeth,

Licking the blade before returning to sheath.

Pale eyes pierce me whole,

Cradling my crystalline skull.

I give myself defiantly; no longer a fight,

This lucid beast enveloping my sight.

Take me now; love me deep,

Kiss me tenderly as I sleep.

I'm yours now; flesh and bone,

Eagerly awaiting the vast unknown.

About
Amidst the layers of life stands a beautiful woman covered in paint. Her body is her canvas. She is essence. She is free and powerful and sexy. Through art she is more alive than even the most.. more..
