Enchanted Bliss

Enchanted Bliss

A Poem by FractalLuna

Mother Nature sits with her orange, red and yellow palette

The world is falling asleep with me cradled in its arms

It whispers something nonchalantly into my ear

But I cannot comprehend it because I’m intoxicated with sleep

I pray that I will stay nestled here forever

Because for once I feel secure and warm

And laying here leaves me immobile

I’m afraid that if I move I’ll break this peaceful spell

I can feel this poetry on my skin

And it sings to me an enchanted lullaby

And welcomes passion back into my almost colorless eyes

They almost resemble a sparkling rainbow now

From these profound thoughts and dreams seeping out of me

I asked the moon to hold onto my memories

Because they’re fading fast

But it just laughed and told me they’d fall away anyway

Amidst the layers of life stands a beautiful woman covered in paint. Her body is her canvas. She is essence. She is free and powerful and sexy. Through art she is more alive than even the most.. more..
