Autumn FellA Poem by FractalLunaAutumn fell, Wind blown, red and brown. The clouds gathered, And I swallowed them down. Life swept upon the dawns of blue, Where my deepest dreams entwined. Incantations bound me to you, As the moonlight shone on the path behind. Leaves collected, webs traced, Secrets left to the stars. My breath left me; sent to the trees, As the cloak of serenity was placed. I am finding all things forgotten, And the entities of old left behind. Hidden ghosts and bones buried with time, A cold wisp of frosted dead I mistakenly brought in. I took this beauty for warmth, When Autumn fell silently; my clarity fixated, On purity, tones of my muse, and a quiet soul. Escaping into the clouds, I became the shapes of the season, Autumn became my truest shroud, As I found my voice and reason. -FractalLuna- © 2016 FractalLuna |
