Teddy Bear

Teddy Bear

A Poem by Mitchell_Friesen

We are all sewn together with a smile on our face, but inside we are just a bunch of broken pieces.
We are loved by society when they need us most, then we are tossed around until we find a new host. We are torn and expose what's on the inside, then all of a sudden we're not good enough.
They try to fix us but only give us blemishes unsightly to the human eye. We been through so much pain and sorrow brought upon us by those who 'loved' us most. The ones who were once our gracious host.
We've fought a battle that everyone knows, some survive the fight others are consumed by their little broken pieces.
We are the teddy bear of different societies, no one can escape the torment and secrets, until we go home to the one who never stopped loving us

Great analogy you've woven through this poor teddy bear, I hear you...well said.
