Day of Black Coffee ~A Poem by FoxemeraldThe simplest things seem to make my day better! Hypothetically speaking- I think that coffee and tea can work to be great flirtation tools . . . but who knows? Maybe that's just me, after all.Day of Black Coffee ~
Coffee mug on the patio, It trembled and went down, Then evaded my reflexive hand that, Could not stop its descent, The liquid clouding out the gray.
My hands shook as I bent, Over to pick up the remnants, Trembling with hidden shame that, Offered us no small description.
Then, in front of my eyes, Hands appeared that removed, the mug now traveling by me.
Lily-white and slender, They gracefully placed the, Scattered glass at the edge, To carefully remove the stains-
and remove the trace of coffee from my day. . . © 2014 FoxemeraldReviews
