Delicacy in Nature

Delicacy in Nature

A Poem by Foxemerald

~ Delicacy In Nature ~

The rose of a perfumed eye,

that envisions itself in a haven,

and closely snipped-

cherry blossoms,

that fell in tendrils away,

from her pearl face,

which ignores the way the seasons,

weep, and transform,

the way the rain, and sun then close,

until no more can-

the beauty ignore,

the dark shadow,

of the blackest day,

as it dawn's over her soul,

even-

filled as it is with irises.

The eye of perfumed red,

women carved out from one of God's grace

is no longer,

for,

even her beautiful vision could save her not,

from inevitable death-

I loved her.

Thank you for the image in poetry of the cherry blossoms.
I remember as a child going to Washington DC and seeing the blossoms around the reflecting pools.
I was ten years old and I fell in love for life with the elegance of these small trees.
A wonderful write. Properly proportioned and delicately delivered as the the object of the poetry.
