DestinyA Poem by Foxemerald
~ Destiny ~ If I could take you away, I would dream, Of all the places that we could envision for ourselves, As our wings caught upon the brambles, In a silver flash through a blue-lit sky, Graced by fluttering, majestic angels whose feminine dresses- Were like blue smudges. If I could give you everything that you imagined for yourself, I would dream us into this lacy Heaven, And we would be- Forever united, As one strength, one stoic power against the rage, And the people that walk upon Earth. If I could give you- A dream, How I would make you fly! I would paint you up in lace and pink glamour, That seemed almost clandestine- But you would feel so innocent . . . That not even the fowls could possibly imagine, You were of this Earth, Shaped as it is by the rage of devils, Who tore it to shreds after leaving God’s fold, So many little devils . . . I cannot explain it. The Earth, in its melee and its wicked ways, But then- Who really cares if they attempt to catch us? Evil will not find us either way- For you and I are one as a united strength, And you are a pearlescent, Beautiful grace that teases the sky, And everything in it. Our wings brush softy against the brambles as we fly together, Towards this golden and blue, sapphire and pink, Waving miracle, Of flowing angels, In a splendiferous array of wild, And unimaginable color- A beauty so unrealistic, That I can scarcely imagine it . . . But yet, I see it in you. Your dark eyes, Are like silver prongs as they reach out to a meadow, Stirring up flowers and life. You are, Forever my ray of understanding, Of love, And I see us, Where no one dares to walk, In little lacy patterns, That God has designed, Just for our journey, Through the sky, As free spirits, With a cake-icicle- Aura, And a sheek- Destiny- You are wild . . . We are wild . . . And free. © 2013 Foxemerald |
