My Heavenly Savior

My Heavenly Savior

A Poem by Foxemerald

~ My Heavenly Savior ~

There are not, there are not,

I moved my tempestuous muscle,

And fought to make my lips,

Carry the luscious melody,

That I harbored, within my breast,

Although I took- much that was at stake,

For a truth that would forever be,

Holding onto it-

But I, knew my health was

An existence, which as go the ages,

Die like flames that are wrought,

And extinguished due to this-

Thing called time, that lives,

And then extends, with a rope,

Typing my tight heart,

Within a hope, should break-

It- the fibrous chords may,

Constrict it, until it shatters,

As the crystal orb upon,

A Christmas tree will shatter-

And mine broke, in two  . . .

Because, time extends, as does,

The slippery rope that reaches . . .

Nowhere, extends about my central organ,

Which is now slowly dying,

Because I had taken for granted,

My health, which now lives within,

Nothing save for a thread,

Or a bind that’s-

Purely imaginary . . .

Thus, I can only speak in this happiness that overcomes my laden soul,

Because of the fact that I, am looking over a vista,

Of something entirely renewed,

Gilded by pearls and an angel throng,

Which I list to,

Forever, and ever, my savior . . .

Amen ~
