Memories- Part 1, Ice Queen

Memories- Part 1, Ice Queen

"

A frigid walk through sheets of ice causes memories of shattering cruelty to ravage the soul.

~ Memories ~

{Part 1: Ice Queen}

It has- walked-

It has trembled,

Even if I could not whisper,

Into the frigid wind sheets,

Because my voice became choked.

Tears started to well,

Gracing my long lashes with silver laces,

Laces of the finest cool sweetness,

Twining about my unique torches,

Of my soul-

My eyes windows,

Behind the delicate, frilly adornment

Of my tears.

And it has walked,

Beneath shades of darkness,

It has trembled,

Even if I could not whisper,

Into the frigid wind sheets,

Because my voice choked.

The heavy, laced droplets,

Stuck themselves to my long lashes,

Laces of the finest cool sweetness,

And they were beautiful,

But,

I cried,

Silently,

Into the cold, because,

I choked on them,

And I-was rent with this beautiful pain,

Beautiful mystery

Of my true heart,

And the torches-

They continued to flare,

Set deeply,

Behind the Queenly iced layers,

Of a lacy design-

A frozen night . . .

Frozen people in my cold breast . . .

Memories locked away for eternity . . .

Trying to break free . . .

Of my . . .

Lashes . . .
