*DayDream*A Poem by Forver is only for nowIn her room she lay, staring at the ceiling,
A cloud hovering over her head, with this s****y feeling, In her mind she keeps playing this movie, There's people saying groovy, Smiley faces and peace signs, Even beaded blinds, Then HE shows, There she rose, He pulls her close, She pushes him away, Starts walking the other way, But then another man blocks her, His jacket, made of fur, Now it's all over, They pull out knives, She can tell they've taken lives, He'll take her for so long, Still knowing it's so wrong, Then it'll be the others turn, She might not be burned, As long as she doesn't fight, They won't bite, At least, not with a knife. She'll hold back her screams, But these are just her dreams, They won't just shut off, As she tosses and turns, But then this amazing guy will walk into her loft, Wake her and be there, Now she's sure someone is there to care, She starts to gleam, Knowing her knight's saving her from the dream. © 2010 Forver is only for now |
