Clones

Clones

A Poem by Brett Forsythe
"

I wrote this to shed light on the issue that people are often no longer individuals. Also pointing towards the military being in countries they have no business being in.

"

Procrastination is the weight that drowns all happiness,

One could find the key to life and still would not be blessed,

We spend our time avoiding peace, we’re governed to obey,

It’s sad to see that we all know but only some will say,

If your beliefs have left you standing on your own,

Be not sad but proud that you are not another clone,

Give everyone your utmost grace no matter if you’re scarred,

Death keeps us closer than we think no matter where we are,

The forgone conclusion to all different kinds of lives,

Regardless of our race or size we all end up side by side.
