Forbidden Fruit

Forbidden Fruit

A Poem by Foxx Falcon

I watched the world float by upon a silver platter,
And upon its groves I read a foreign tongue,
It seared and twisted my mind to its craft,
Calling forth a forgotten plane,
Long since abandoned by mortal fear
It spoke of our agony,
Of Eves’ apple
And its taste upon her lips
