Lovesick Dreams of You and Me

Lovesick Dreams of You and Me

A Poem by Miss Gabriela
"

Just something I thought up; beautiful, romantic, and dreamy. It's short but very sweet. Girl's point of view. Not supposed to rhyme!

"
I have lovesick dreams of you.
Your deep, dark eyes staring into my own.
Your hand clasping my hand as if the world will crumble around us.
Your soft fingers caressing my cheek gingerly.
My arms wrapped around your neck with your hands fastened around my waist.
Us kissing in the rain or under the sun.
Us dancing under the twinkling night stars.
But the best one I've had is of you telling me the immortal words, "I love you."

I believe the grammar is good as is.
But is it too cliche? Too mushy, or just right?

Love and dreams keep our hope alive. A beautiful poem of great dreams and hope. Sometime the first step is in the mind then if we are lucky. To try to make dreams come true. A excellent poem. Description and detail was amazing.
