Spirit of the Wolf

Spirit of the Wolf

A Poem by Forgotten

I look at her my heart filled with awe,
The gentle moonlight caresses her body,
Blue as the morning sky,
Her eyes crystalline and tranquil,
Her smile cleansing my soul,
God is my witness for my love for her.
She has the Spirit of the Wolf,
The exiled Omega yet the Alpha in her own justice,
Independent,
Reliant on no-one she stands tall and proud,
With the beauty of the moonlight and the strength of the wolf,
She holds my heart close.
I look at her my heart filled with awe,
With the moonlight in her eyes,
And the strength in her heart,
She has the Spirit of the Wolf,
God is my witness,
For the eternal love I hold for her.

Romantic and soft. I love that you state that "She has the Spirit of The Wolf",
a creature who above all else is part of a pack, a family. Whose cries are heard at night as she swoons over the moon and echos in my ears. Beautiful!

'she has the spirit of the wolf, God is my witness, for the eternal love I hold for her".
Loved the poem. Maybe it's the spirit of this weekend, Memorial Day, and the love I feel for my Country and those who serve her.
"With the beauty of the moonlight and the strength of the owrl, She hold my heart close."
Those are my favorite lines.
Thank you

A beautiful poem. I like the use of the wolf. Gave life and made the story have the feel of myth and mystery.
"With the moonlight in her eyes,
And the strength in her heart,"
Thank you for the outstanding poem.
