Inside

Inside

A Poem by Forgotten
"

This is just a poem about the thing everyone has, negative emotion.

"
I sit at the bus stop,
the commotion around stirs me,
the everlasting migraine seems not to come to an end,
but who am I?

I am the blood that boils,
I am the lucid hate,
I am the tar in your heart,
and the sludge in your soul,
Tarnished am I,
I follow you...I harbour within you.

I am the hate that you feel,
the rage you endure,
I am the sins of your past,
and I'm the tears you fill.

Nothing but a beast within,
Brutality is my nature,
Anger is my nourishment,
Feeding of your anguish I lay dormant and quiet.

I am within you all,
I stain your mind and I corrupt your spirit.

However....
I lay dormant,
I lay quiet and still,
Hate is not YOUR nature and anger does not fuel you,
I stand beside the other,
Reason and tranquillity,
That other half of me.

Wow and I repeat "Wow". That was freaking powerful. You had me hanging on every word and I have to ask what were you describing, I'm afraid my guess may be wrong. What is this thing that is inside us?

This is beautiful, I agree we all have that anger and it boils to be let out.

Have you ever tasted life
On the tip of your tongue
It isn't as bitter
As part of the sum
Life is strung
Hung in silver lines
Threaded like the stars
Twinkling in the sky
Life; it tastes exotic
Sweet and sometimes free
It's like chasing that rebel
That's been inside of me
A blast from the guitar
This tang it is bizarre
Toxic is burning
Oh hazaah
Tangy Life lines
Stretch over the sea
Pulling that string
From your heart to me
Tangy life lines
Unite us as one
Each and every one of us
Equal that sum ~DMX

Good to read your words. Always a pleasure to travel into the mind and thoughts. Above lines were outstanding. I had to read a second time for the pleasure of the outstanding poetry.
