Reflection

Reflection

A Poem by Forgotten
"

Everyone genarally hates theirself in some way or form, and you always see this when you look into the mirror.

"

I judge him,
I see everything I want to be yet hate everything that I am,
His eyes show pain and the remains of broken dreams,
His lips mutter words of doubt and hate.

Your reflection mirrors you,
Shows everything you hate and everything you want to become,
Your eyes look back at you with infinite depth,
Your sharp looks envision you parallel to yourself.

You see two,
what you are and what you’re yet to achieve,
you stand parallel to yourself,
the mirror in the middle.

I like this poem. You describe with skill how we see ourselves. Reflection is a two-sided coin. The good and bad can make the image fuzzy and confused. I like how you described the situation.
"You see two,
What you are and what your yet to achieve,
You stand parallel to yourself,
The mirror in the middle."
Thank you for a excellent poem.
