The Noise

How do I describe it?

A noise without sound to it's name,

There for a moment yet gone,

Almost as if it's existence is but trickery,

Part of the neurological chemical flowing though my mind,

Is it part of an illusion to yet be seen by naked eyes?

I cannot fathom it's whereabouts,

Or better yet it's location of solitude,

Why am I pained by the noise?

For as it is but a fleeting phenomenon,

It is the sound with not a name to its cause. 

Author's Note

I get a painful fleeting noise in my head at times, it's not tinnitus as it's not the right symptom, but nonetheless it catches me off guard and causes me a lot of pain. As it hit me tonight as I was just about to sleep a poem came to my head, so here it is, short and fleeting like the noise.

At first glance, this seemed to be similar to Poe-until I realized the true seriousness of the noise you described. I would definitely contact a Dr. for advice on your issue.

Yeah it's not fun at all, I was just about to get some sleep tonight and just as I was drifting off the noise just boomed in my head, really really painful this time :/ Muscles seized up for a second but I'm okay :) The reason for it has never been found out, but I've had this since I was a child :) Thanks for the review

Haha thank you, this has happened to me since I was a child and it'll suddenly won't happen for months then hit me really hard, it's get more painful each time and the doctors have never found an reason for it, thank you for you concern and review :)
