A Lovers WordsA Poem by Forgotten
How could one compare thee to a summers day?
For your radiant beauty is envy of the sun, Your glorious flowing locks twist and turn in the autumn breeze, Tranquillity to it's perfection, Neither by heart or eye can flaw be found. For no other girl could be found in my heart, Our fates leading us to intertwine in this heartless world, For when our eyes meet the spark can be felt, Just as it courses when our finger lock in perfect harmony, Yet no word or rhyme could ever match, The strength of my love for you. Some say perfection is just a illusion, Flaws clouded by love and faults locked in haze, Yet I say let the illusion stand, For if my heart should want the perfection it sees, Then let the illusion be mine, For my love for you is limitless by all means of word.
