Moonlight RomanceA Poem by Forgotten
May I have this dance beneath the canvassed sky?
For the moon shall be our spotlight, Like two pieces to a music box we shall harmonise, Underneath the starlight sky we shall dance, The dance love would have us do. Let our steps flow, With the graceful elegance of a sapphire river, May your dress blow in the subtle wind, And let it take your soul, For the night is ours. May I have this dance beneath the canvassed sky? For the moon shall be our spotlight, Let my heart speak to you and teach you to dance, To the rhythm of my heartbeat, My love let us dance, Until the night is no more.
