A future with youA Poem by Forgotten
I take your hand in mine and look into your eyes,
I ask you: "May I look into your eyes, for as long as I should please, For the future I see has but naught wrong" As I smile, sincere to my heart I am happy, For a future with you, Could hold no sadness for this hopeless romantic. May your name be written in calligraphy upon my heart, For your elegant beauty is rivalled by none, Like a wild rose you are enticing, Like a siren you call to me, The beauty of love intertwines between our locked fingers. As I lean in I whisper: "For you I would freeze time, So this moment may last forever, Within ice I would lock my kisses, For only yours may set an eternal ember, Within this smitten soul" © 2012 Forgotten |
