Destruction

Destruction

A Poem by Forever_Deadly

I am walking unnoticed in this hell hole of society

Memories of us

Nightmares of you

They race throughout my mind.

Self-destruction

Self-mutilation

I don’t consider it bad

It’s a way of relief from this hell we live in

First you say I have problems

You drug me until you say she “overdosed”

More of this

More of that

Pills after pills, shoved down my throat

My throat is so raw from all that I take

Secondly, you say to “cope”

“Get over it…”

“You only do it for attention”

Accusations from people who don’t live my daily life

I get interrogated daily by you

I don’t do it for attention!

I do it to cope… just like you said.

But after all the pills

You don’t know who I am anymore

I don’t even know who I am anymore

This poem was SO sad. It made me understand the pain more and more with each line. There was a few punctuation issues, but that's okay because the poem was so emotionally inclined that I didn't care.
