Unspoken Conclusion

Unspoken Conclusion

A Poem by Forever_Deadly

That silver razor distracted me from the realization

Crimson blood covered the floor, where they found your mangled body

They said it was murder

But I knew it was something more

You were hacked away, no remorse shown

This was too personal

They said you went crazy

You were dangerous; I guess “better off this way”

You tried to warn us, we just didn’t listen when we should have

Well, here I am…

You spoke of shadows, faces that followed you into your vaulted dreams

Your mention of nightmares

I guess you couldn’t take the abuse

I’m sorry I didn’t take action

I promised you the world

I failed to protect you from the demons

And with that I say I’m sorry

Every day I look up and I know you are looking back at me

You kept me alive, a reason to continue

You were my muse…

You were everything.

 I love you

 I miss you

I will never forget you

Memories haunting me now that you’re gone

The good, the bad and the in between

Reflections of you everywhere I turn

I tried forgetting the graphics of how they explained they found you

Horrified with myself

I can’t stop the madness that was once a description

It’s morphed into an obscured memory of you

It’s invaded all that I’ve known to be true

I’m slowly fading without you.
