I don't remember

I don't recall

I just pretend

It didn't happen at all

My childhood

My memories

Were ruptured

By your fantasies

Your sick obsession

Your twisted ways

Led me to a fate

That'd end my happy days

I no longer smile

I no longer care

Because what you did

Was never fair

You didn't ask

You didn't earn

You just took

But it wasn't your turn

What you took

Wasn't yours to keep

Yet you continued

A fateful leap

An unprotected child

Without anyone there

You had me so scared

To tell, I wouldn't dare

So it continued

For years to come

Until I was old enough

And you were done

But the past is stays

With me always

The nightmares remind me

Even in my happeist days

You'll always be a part of me

No matter how much I try

You'll always stick with me

Until the day I die

That's a true haunting tale of abuse . . . abuse of the foulest, most nightmarish kind imaginable. I think any pathetic review I could write would almost be disrespectful, so I can only stay silent for this piece . . . silence is the only true respect I can give
