Fantasy Land

My getaway~~

They ask if I still love you;

If it was ever true?

I shake my head in disbelief

As if people still needed this relief. 

What happened to you two?

What did you do? 

But there is no easy way to say

That he just went his separate way.. 

Destined, I suppose, to be on his own 

Something I can't condone. 

How am I suppose to force his hand? 

To stay with me in Neverland. 

He spread his wings

And left without a sting. 

One day he was here with me...

The next he was off, flying free. 

And where was I but stuck here?

Without anyone to comfort my fears. 

But I'm a big girl now I guess

Nothing more, nothing less. 

In this fantasy I stay.

Along this wonderland, I lay. 

Alone in my magic kingdom I live. 

Nothing to take; Nothing left to give.
