Sympathetic Frustrations

Sympathetic Frustrations

A Poem by paradise

This pain this pain it just won't go away
Why won't you just give a damn reason to stay
I cry I lie I wish to Die
What will be the one thing that keeps me alive?

I'm bruised scarred all over my arms
All they can see is beauty and all my charms
My flawless mask of tragic art
Is the only thing keeping me from falling apart

The boy the boy
who brought me so much joy
I laugh and smile whenever hes near
Only a mile away will I ever show a tear

I run I run I never look back
I Fly I Fly All part of the pact
Look around look around
time to run on the ground

I cry I cry
without any reason why
Go to the middle then back near the side
Just hoping none wil see when I try to hide

Going far Going far
the toxic smell of tar
Running all fast never to go slow
Running without my wings not far to go

Spreading my wings taking flight
not looking back going to the right
The wind on my face
No pain not a trace

The rhythm, though irregular, banged its way right to my head. The repetitions are amazing and grabbed my eye. The imagery was wonderful. All in all, an impressive work. Keep it up.
