In Me

In Me

A Poem by Nana Carmine
"

I threw it together, it might make a good song... But i really like it. Tell me what you think

"

Find the glory in you eyes.

You believed I was real

But you too were wrong.

I lived in this world

Where nothing was what it seemed.

What do you see in me?

What do you see in me?

I feel this diseases taking hold.

Run far away.

I am gone in a few moments.

Time dies…

Time dies…

What do you see in me?

What do you see in me?

Is there a light I just cannot see?

That hides just below the surface.

Blocked by the walls around me

Time flies

Time flies…

What do you see in me?

What do you see in me?

I think it'd make a pretty good song

Other than that, it's still all good...

That's really melodic. As a musician, I can say that it would be a decent song. I like how it sounds innocent yet demanding. It really would be a powerful song. You should start singing melodies to the words when you write poetry. Sometimes it creates a really good piece. Overall I think that this is a brilliant poem and a catching set of lyrics.

this was good. i liked it very much. it felt like there was something ominous inside the person as i read this. like they thought there was something real, but in the end it was just their imagination. i could be wrong though. but thats how i looked at it
