I Need This

I Need This

A Poem by Nana Carmine
"

Written About someone special to me

"

The tears won’t stop

The pain won’t cease

Until I feel your hands on me

Holding me close

Silencing my fears

I need this

You whisper sweet nothings

Into my ear

Quench my thirst

To fight away my fears

And it is only you

I need this

I hold you close

And you hold me

Making me believe

That things might be

Alright in the end

I need this

You and me

Together at last

Holding on

To the last of my hopes

And that is you

I need this

Again, you have me in tears lol- Even your picture for this poem puts me in tears hehe- This was extremely beautiful and comforting. I mean, when u said like a person u love dearly holds you and comforts you close; i think there's just so much love being performed just in that little section alone. Very movng and i could see the perfect image... Pain, sorrow, gray-silver day, drizzling lightly, and the cold wind touching you... then your lover appears, and he puts his arms around you and holds you; taking all of this pain, and darkness away; leaving the sunshine and the clean atmosphere to stay, as he caresses your lips gently with his hehe. I dream this so much everyday in my situation (but with a girl ;) ). I couldnt've said it better :) :) Im speechless lol

You know, it's very rare for me to see any spelling and/or grammar errors with you.

I hold you close
And you hold me
Making me believe
That things might be
Alright in the end

I think almost every person can attest to that stanza right there. I kind of would like to see you play around with imagery a little bit more. I like 'You whisper sweet nothings/ Into my ear/Quench my thirst', but I'm a girl who loves the imagery. *shrugs*

I like this because it is so relate-able. You used very clear imagery which makes the emotions really stand out.

I love it, its perfect, poetry is an original work of art from the artist writting it. You are a wonderful artist, this shows a lot of emotion. Excellent Write.

I never see grammar or spelling anyway! I like your poem...and...can relate. I suppose we've all felt that way. You might want to polish it up a bit and give it a "twist" ??? Poetry is so personal that it's hard to create a way for the objective reader to understand. Good write.....
