You know, I was just saying to myself, "Self, where is Wren?!?!? I'm so ADDICTED to that big beautiful loving blue eyeball popping up at the Cafe! But alas, I've not seen much of poor Wren!"
WHEN LOW AND BEHOLD, I HAVE A READ REQUEST FROM WREN!!
So I see the title is addiction and I'm thinking it's going to be another dark sort of work, and then I open it up to read it and there's nothing dark about it!?!?!?! Now what the heck is up with that????
You wrote a happy poem? Well, it rocks! and I'm damn happy to see you in a happy mood! No one deserves to be in a happy mood, and in a happy addiction too (LOL), than you!
So, forgive me for giving you a hard time - this really is a lovely little piece with a happy tone to it , even with the warning at the end. The flow is just right and I can so hear and see this whole little scenario playing out just as you've painted it here.
Okay, I've overstayed my welcome and I'm probably in trouble for picking on you a bit, so I'm going to run! Wait, you're addicted, so I'm safe - as long as no one" breaks it!"
At first, I did not think this poem was happy at all. However, the meaning is easily placed where I want it. I like that style of writing. not too personal. It reminded me of something I once new. After reading it again, and placing the meaning perhaps the way you intend it, i feel it is happy after all.
Aw man, yea, ya gave me a tear Nan hehe- *reaches for a tissue* sorry hehe, that was just so awesome. Very definite and genuine true love here, and 'it' shall not break, for it is the 'true' person who loves you dearly. A very beautiful write :)

I like the last line just cause it brings to mind, don't break my heart. But you're talking about how you don't want your addiction to the person to end. Or an object. Who knows you might just be addicted to a broom. Though, I have a hate relationship going on with my broom. Awesome poem.
So very true. Love is a drug. It changes our body's chemistry and makes us do crazy crazy things that under normal circumstances we would never do. And withdrawal is hell. I love the analogy.
About me? What can be said about me? I am Wren Vakassian- I come with free antibacterial handsoap that comes in three sents- Strawberry, Vanilla, and Peppermint. I stay around mostly every week till .. more..
