Old poem, He turned out not to be my reason...

I Found Hope…

I Found Love…

I Found My Reason to Be…

 

I met my darkness,

When I thought that I lost a little piece of me…

I fell beneath the water…

 

I crawled out, and I found my reason to live…

To show all those who said “He won’t ever make anything…”

To finally show them all… I found love…

 

Heartbreak, and sadness, but all of that is no more…

I found my reason to live on…

I found my reason to love…

 

I felt lost, and alone in the darkness of depression,

But when I thought there was no one…

I found the reason…

My hope, My sanity…

 

With my reason… I can conquer all,

With my reason, I know I can be me…

With my reason, I have the courage, intelligence, and bravery.

 

Justified in the silence it may bring,

I found my reason…

I found my being…

Everyone has an idea in their mind what their reason is for living...but sometimes they find out it's something totally different and once they find their true reason, that's when their life begins to be worthwhile.

Not bad. Nice tone of discovery in this, but I think you ought to cut most, if not all, of the ellipses. Gives this a very slow and halting feel which doesn't really help the flow of the piece at all. I think you might have gone a little overboard in parts with your language choice - comes across as maybe a little too clingy and dependent, but that's easily fixable. Good work.
