Two Cities

Two Cities

A Poem by Forbidden
"

Two cities reside at the edge of the world, One of light, And One of Night.

"
Two cities reside at the edge of the world,
One of light,
And One of Night.

The City of light,
Hold’s beauty and music,
At it’s highest values,
It’s residents,
Are beautiful beyond compare,
But only one young woman,
Longs for what the other city holds.

The City of Night,
Never see’s any light,
They love to party and dance all night,
There are no values in this dark place.
No-one complains,
Except for one young man,
Who dream’s of a beautiful,
Bright place.

The young dreamer’s meet,
On their cities edge,
Curiosity is explored,
As love blooms,
Underneath the cities lights.
The dreamer’s dream,
And hope to be never found,
For if their dream ends,
Then love holds no bounds.

Their dreams take flight,
As they soar together,
On the cities of light and Night,
Where the young lovers,
Will never be found.

The city of Light,
And the City of Night,
Sleeps eternally,
Never to be waken,
With the knowledge of young lovers,
On the edge of the world.
