Death's Embrace

Death's Embrace

Death’s Embrace

Darkness surrounds me,

As the world slumbers endlessly.

The darkness calls to me,

Whispers endearments,

That are not uttered from a living souls lips.

I welcome its dark embrace,

I welcome the mystery behind the shadows,

And underneath my veil,

It welcomes me as its bride.

The darkness is all consuming,

And in the shadows,

I feel the bitter cold hands of a man,

Caressing me in a loving embrace.

I’ve found another lost soul in the darkness,

My soul mate,

And in the darkness we embrace,

Soft endearments pouring from his pale lips.

The darkness hides me from the light,

And I feel nothing but cold in the shadows of the living,

Death is one with the darkness,

And I am one with death,

For I dwell in the darkness,

In the shadows of the living.

No life,

No emotions,

Live within the darkness,

And yet I feel love for this other half of my soul,

That I have found within the darkness.

I long for his embrace,

And through my longing I receive my single joy.

My soul does not dwell with the living,

And in the mirror I see nothing,

But my soul that has embraced the darkness.

Life has no dominion in the darkness,

And Death has hold over my soul,

I know the face of my soul mate,

I know his heart,

I know that he is Death,

In this dark wasteland.

Eternity echo’s around me,

As time has lost meaning in the darkness,

There is nothing holding me to the living,

And in Death’s cold embrace,

I know that the light will never find me in the darkness.

Life has lost its meaning to me,

And so has mortality,

I welcome Death with open arms,

And he embraces me,

In the cold depths of his love,

I know every space of his home,

And together,

We share the joy of each other’s love,

In the bitter cold of the darkness.

I lose myself in his arms,

I allow him to take over me completely,

The darkness is my home,

In Death’s cold embrace,

His lips pouring endearments,

Telling me of his love,

Death is my soul mate,

My other half,

And I breathe no more,

In his cold embrace.
