The Full Blue MoonA Poem by ForbiddenA tale of two boys and the magic of a full moon. It was for a halloween challenge on another site. When the moon is full,
And it is riddled with gloom.
It is a Halloween’s affair,
Keeping secrets from us,
Does it seem unfair?
Take a ride with me,
Down to the oceans bay,
Were we can stay the whole night through,
And watch the magic of the wide ocean blue.
Were fantasies,
Are no longer dreams,
Were vampires prowl,
And mermaids sing.
Of a tale of two,
Who challenged the dark?
And got suck into the ocean,
Who would have thunk?
That they would survive there,
Under the blue,
And carried on this tale,
To me and you.
That when the moon is full at night,
And you hear the mermaids sing,
Don’t get caught up in the magic,
Or you may find that you will never wake,
Drowning in dreams,
With your fantasies.
Once again let’s go down to the ocean bay,
Where we will forever stay,
Dreaming dreams that may one day be true,
Under the full blue moon.
