Revenge Is Sweet

Revenge Is Sweet

A Poem by Forbidden
"

Its about Revenge

"

The wind whispered her name,

As the leaves at my feet swirled,
The sky just darkening after the sun had set,
Painted a peaceful evening for most normal people...

She sat next to the stone above her mother’s grave,
An only child with only one parent,
Who had been dead and gone for years.

I remember the very night I watched her die.
Chloe and I was being driven home by her mother,
After we had gone to see a scary movie at the cinemas.

That night it was raining,
The cars were driving at incredible speeds,
Then before I knew it the car was heading front on into the rear of a ten mile long truck.

That was five years ago,
And now I plan to kill my best friend.

Over what you say,
She killed my brother,
Got him sedated by a bottle of rum,
Then sliced his neck with a silver blade,
That she had left at the scene of the crime,
In her haste to run away.

The wind roared now,
Trying to get her to run away,
Not this time, my dear old friend.

I held the blade tighter in my hand,
So that my blood would spill from my palm,
She turned her blue eyes to me,
I felt no remorse for her,
Nor did I feel the pain,
That should have been radiating from my hand,
For Revenge had consumed me,
As death was now to consume her.

Whoa! Dark and gloomy and sad,
But is expressed well, and wonderful flow to it.
