The Demon Barber

Sweeney was his name and killing was his game... Inspired by the 2007 film (with Jhonny Depp) "Sweeney Todd"

The Cold Silver blade,

Rested on the smooth skin of the barbers table.

The Gentleman awaiting his shave,

Was gently singing to himself.

 

The full pale moon,

Glowed in the sky,

As the demon barber,

Awaited his time.

 

Scrape,

Scrape,

Went the sliver blade,

Across the man’s neck,

Removing white goo,

And removing any unwanted hair.

 

Hum,

De,

Hum,

Went the barbers tune,

As he whistled a gentle hum threw his scorched air pipes,

Thirsty for the blood of a devious man.

 

Mmm,

Aw,

Mmm Mmm.

Went the barbers tune,

Over the gurgle of a dying man,

Dreaming of being in a world,

With his Joanna.

 

Click,

Click,

Whirl,

Went the chair,

Preparing its self to drop the dead man,

Into the belly of the beast,

A bakehouse in which they cook unnatural meat.

 

Bang,

Bang,

Bang,

The knife was thrown onto the once smooth skin of the table,

The barbers chair was kicked, breaking most of its body,

Gurgle,

Hiss,

 

 

The silence in the barbers room was disturbing,

No happy wistle of the barber,

No ringing of the tiny bell on the door showing a sign of customers,

Complete and utter silence,

The barber’s time had come and gone,

In that last single shave,

The barber recived his revenge,

And now he had absolutely nothing left,

He did not even own his life,

For it was lost when he received revenge,

For that was the tale of the demon barber.
