The Stormy Night

The Stormy Night

A Poem by Forbidden
"

A poem about regret that I did for a challenge on another site.

"

The howl of the storm,

Was not as strong as the stench that surrounded me.

The Flash of lightening,
Was not as frightening as the flashes of my memories.

The Over flooding of rain,
Was not as powerful as the emotions that ran through me.

My life,
My memories were not as horrid as the storm,
That raged through the long night.

When the storm comes to its end,
It receives the rainbow,
A sign of happiness and joy.
My life will never have its rainbow,
It will never have happiness or joy,
Or even content,
For my hands are smeared with blood,
A thing I will always regret.
