EuphoriaA Poem by SomewhereInNeverlandThe overwhelming happiness that envelops you
The warmness starts to spread, the joy starts to take hold,
Unfamiliar faces seem sadder than usual, Your smile is visible, for all the world to see, Nothing can stop your happiness, All attempts are futile. You help all that need it, as you're in good spirits, The charity is seen as condescension, misunderstood, It doesn't weigh down on your cheeriness, Your friends are intrigued, and they share your excitement, And they participate in the joyous experience. The feeling remains, for longer than before, You are in a bubble, and nothing can penetrate it, It protects you from close-minded, ignorant idiots, A safe haven, away from the harsh realization of life, But euphoria can't last forever. © 2013 SomewhereInNeverlandAuthor's Note
