Hello again

Hello again

A Poem by G

Your fingers intertwine with mine as
I beg you to pound the sadness out of me
You whisper sweet nothings into my ear
Knowing my body couldn't handle it

I desperately wanted you to
Swirl those white lies back into my mouth as
Our bodies become water
Taking form of each other
Taking form of whoever we wanted to be that night

My hands find their way up to your neck
Your eyes glisten like you know what's to come
My grasp gets tighter &
I watch your eyes roll back
Like you've been waiting for this your whole life

It's been awhile old friend
How sinfully sweet to see you again

Skilfully stirring, G. Nicely done with little wasted conversation. Your poetry paints the inner self and opens the doors of mood and emotion, all of which this piece serves well. It is in us poets to intone, digress, and extricate the meaning of life and living -- or just loose the demons of carnality. You have managed the sensuality without getting lost in the heat of passion. Nice crescendo and a calming rhyme at the close. Well done.
